July 11 in Paris

My number one friend, photographer, and taste-tester has gone home.   He had to go back to the real world while I get to stay a little bit longer.  In honor of his great work, I'm showing off some more of his photographs.   I hope you like them.

One of the "gems" at Saint Chappele

Toy boats at the Tuilleries.  The children were having so much fun chasing them---and they were American children!

Place Vendome and a cloudy sky.

Chateau de Vincennes from the inside out.

Sunset in Paris

Another sunset and that happens at about 9:30 PM.

Flower at Giverny

Claude Monet loved to group complimenting colors together.

Ahhhhh

It was wonderful to see this in real life, and then again at the Orangarie on canvas.

Perfect

Monet's Grand Allee

Ruins of a church in Rouen

They are watching you!

Poppy fields in Normandy--near the battle field.

Mont St. Michel

Another beautiful sunset in Paris
